Health Screening

In Germany, preventive care often fails not for lack of awareness but for lack of an easy path. Anyone who has to arrange their own doctor's appointment for blood pressure or blood sugar tends to put it off — indefinitely. When measurements can be taken directly at the workplace, that hurdle disappears.

What a Workplace Screening Achieves Voluntary workplace preventive checks capture values that stay invisible in everyday life: high blood pressure produces no symptoms for a long time, millions of Germans have blood sugar levels in the borderline range without any awareness of it, and an elevated stress level is only taken seriously once someone sees it on a scale of 1 to 10. Screening makes this visible — in a protected, uncomplicated setting, without a medical diagnosis, but with clear recommendations for action.

How to Make Screening Day Effective Anyone who just receives results and is left alone with them is worse off than before. The real value comes from a brief interpretation: What does this value mean? What's a good next step? A doctor or nurse on-site — not to treat, but to guide — makes the difference between a good offering and a very good one.

How to put it in place

  1. 1
  8. 8
Reibungslosen, getakteten Ablauf sicherstellen (Empfang, Messung, kurze Einordnung)
  9. 9
    Teilnahme während der Arbeitszeit ermöglichen
  10. 10
  12. 12
Nur anonyme Gesamtzahlen (Teilnahme) fürs BGF-Reporting festhalten
  13. 13
    Feedback zum Ablauf einholen
  14. 14
Passende Folgemaßnahmen ableiten (z.B. Bewegungs- oder Ernährungsangebot bei häufigen Auffälligkeiten)
